Once upon a mountaintop, I was lost AF.
It started out as any other hike--my nine-year-old and I went hiking and got caught in some rain--when suddenly, there they were. A herd of dancing elk. And I mean dancing--Antlers swaying, hooves flying.
My daughter joined right in, and they danced until it was raining too hard to see. That's when I heard the roaring of the floodwaters. The elk galloped past, scooping us up in their antlers.
They carried us to the top of a hill where we watched the floodwaters rush through the forest. We danced and danced until the sun came out and the waters went down.
